Our Kingly Inheritance: 3:16 Missions Month

Jesus is alive and we want to tell it to the whole world!

3:16 Church was birthed with a global vision to share Jesus to the world. Our God is a global God, not a local god, so nothing less than a global vision is worthy of Him. Unquestionably, God’s eyes has always been set on the nations and we are privileged to embrace this kingdom mandate.

“Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.” – Psalm 2:8 NIV

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19 – 20 NLT

Sharing Jesus to the world is a considerable and immense undertaking, but God never despises humble beginnings. Last Sunday, we kicked off our very first 3:16 Missions Month! I shared about how God had extraordinarily swung the doors wide open for our mission efforts in five special nations, namely Philippines, China, Pakistan, the Thailand-Myanmar border and Israel.

Here is a quick summary:

CHINA

One of our members goes to Western China. Focusing on the unreached, mobilising the reached and developing the house of prayer there.

THAILAND-MYANMAR BORDER

Calvin Tan, another 3:16 Church’s missionary, worked for Mercy Teams International under Operation Mobilisation. He will be leaving on 22nd May and I will be travelling along with him for a survey trip.

PHILIPPINES

Pastor Jeremy will be leading a team for a week of evangelistic campaign in Davao from 25th to 29th July. We are also praying to host a large-scale evangelical outreach in the near future.

PAKISTAN

After a fruitful survey trip last year, we are planning for another trip to Pakistan to partner together with Pastor Naeem Nasir. Our prayer is to support the local pastors, train disciple-makers and also to evangelise the lost. Pastor Naeem will be visiting 3:16 Church in May.

ISRAEL

3:16 Church will be sending a team to Israel for short-term mission trip in 2017. We also pledged to bless Israel as commanded in Psalm 122:6. One of the ways that we want to bless Israel is by hosting a National Prophecy Conference this year, where the main theme is to recognise that the biggest sign of the return of Jesus is through Israel, the miracle nation state.

The “Bless the Nations Fund” was started to better facilitate our missions initiative. This fund will be used only for the needs of missions, particularly towards the cause of the Great Commission. This will include 1) investing in survey trips, 2) providing for the needs of missionaries, 3) evangelistic campaigns and 4) overseas training for ministers and ministries. I thank God for the overwhelming support and endorsements from 3:16 Church in supporting the vision for missions. This fund will not be used for any local church programs or outreaches

So today, we would like to covet your prayers for the protection of our missionaries and teams, and for hearts of the lost to turn towards Jesus. If you feel a stirring in your heart to embark on this kingly mission of harvesting lost souls or to partner with us in blessing financially for the work of the gospel, you can contact me directly at +65 9758 2465 or email me at iantoh@me.com.

We do what we do today, because one soul that doesn’t know Jesus is one soul too many.

Join us for an adventure of a lifetime! Let’s encounter Jesus through His work in the nations through faith.
