The audio engineer’s role is keeping both an eye and ears on the mix, ensuring a fuller and pleasant sound. Here’s a closer look at our mixing console.“Audio mixing is more than just ensuring audibility. The harmonising and balancing of every vocal and instrument is an art form.” – Team Elevate’s alumniThe ATC. The Kitchen. The Engine Room. A view of the Control Centre (where the work takes place) from the stage. We also provide logistical support to the Praise Band. This includes cable management. Did you know that our entire team have been trained to coil cables with their eyes closed? The over/under technique ensures cables don’t get tangled when needed. We keep our musicians safe by taping down cables to minimise trips and falls. Another key function of Team Elevate is slide management.Carrying out our weekly check with Ps. Norman, ensuring that we are ready for Service. Heavy-lifting: We also support special functions that include outreaches, baptisms, events and camps! Fun fact: A pro-audio speaker weighs anything from as light as 15kg to 30kg!
